Vintage Las Vegas Wedding On Polaroid & 35mm Film

Cora and Thomas came all the way from New Orleans for their vintage Las Vegas wedding—and when I say vintage, I mean the real deal. Cora is a quilt artist, Thomas is a musician, and together they brought such an effortlessly cool, nostalgic energy to their day. From her iconic glam to his bolo tie and that baby blue suit, every detail felt like a time capsule in the best way.

Shot entirely on 35mm film and Polaroid, this gallery blew up on Pinterest and Instagram and still gets referenced to me constantly. It’s the kind of wedding that isn’t theme-y—it’s inspired. A true vintage vibe that just lives and breathes in who they are.

From the Sign to the Tarmac: Kicking Off Their Vintage Vegas Wedding

At Cora and Thomas’s request, we kicked things off at the iconic Las Vegas sign—a must for their vintage Vegas wedding vision. We met early in the morning (before the crowds hit) and the vibe was immediate. Their color palette of soft blues and whites looked so good in the Nevada sun, and that dreamy mod aesthetic came through instantly.

Cora and Thomas went all in on the details: every piece of their attire was vintage-sourced from shops, eBay, and Etsy. Cora even wore a styled beehive wig (her real hair is actually red!), and they rented a white vintage Mustang that just sealed the look.

The best part? The Las Vegas sign location is super close to a private landing strip near Harry Reid Airport—so as planes came into view in the background, it gave off total retro air travel energy. Think transatlantic glam meets Judy Jetson. The mix of the signage, the tarmac, and their carefully curated style made these some of my all-time favorite shots.

Pre-Ceremony Sips at The Mint Tavern

Before heading off to tie the knot, we made a quick stop at The Mint Tavern. This old-school Vegas bar has been around since the late 50s. I suggested it after hearing their vision, and it couldn’t have been a better match. The soft turquoise tones outside, the dim bar lights inside, the retro mirrors and signage were perfect. It all felt like a love letter to everything they were going for.

They grabbed a drink, hung out in the lounge, and even snuck into the red phone booth for a few cheeky shots (one of my favorites from the day). The mood was playful, relaxed, and completely them. After a quick buzz and a few rolls of 35mm, they hopped into their Mustang and cruised off down the Strip to say their vows. This right here? This is what a vintage Vegas wedding feels like.

A Vintage Vegas Wedding Ceremony in Chapel Amore at The Little White Wedding Chapel

After cruising down the Strip in their white vintage Mustang, Cora and Thomas arrived at the Little White Wedding Chapel where their closest friends and family were already waiting to greet them. Everyone showed up in their best vintage-inspired looks, just as the couple had requested. From fringe to florals and bold mod prints, it felt like a flashback to the 60s in the very best way.

If you're planning a vintage Vegas wedding and need room for more guests, Chapel Amore is an ideal option. It's one of the larger spaces on-site and can host up to 60 people comfortably, while still keeping that iconic charm and vintage aesthetic.

Cora’s bouquet, created by Lucid Juliet, was just as show-stopping as the rest of the day. Soft blush tones mixed with pops of berry and orchid gave her vintage mini dress the most romantic finishing touch. The mural-covered walls, their throwback glam, and the energy in the room made this ceremony felt straight out of a movie.

Let’s Make Something Cool Together

What a treat it was to photograph Cora and Thomas on their wedding day. I can’t express enough how much I love film—and how much I love working with couples who share that appreciation. Film has a way of bringing out the raw, imperfect, beautiful magic of a moment. The tones, the texture, the quirks. There’s just nothing like it.

If you're planning a vintage Las Vegas wedding and looking for a photographer who gets that vibe, you're in the right place. I’m all about creating art that feels true to you, with a nostalgic twist and an eye for the kind of details that make your day unforgettable. Capturing your day on 35mm film isn’t just a stylistic choice, it’s a whole experience. I truly believe it makes your memories even more timeless. And if you're not getting married in Vegas? No worries. I’m always down to travel.

You can learn more about me or reach out to inquire about working together. And if you're dreaming up your own Vegas wedding or elopement (or just want to get inspired), be sure to check out more of my favorite stories from Las Vegas and beyond over on the blog!
