3 Unique Las Vegas Wedding Venues That Are Actually Museums
Las Vegas has no shortage of places to get married, but if you’re looking for unique Las Vegas wedding venues that feel a little more unconventional, a museum might be exactly your speed. The Neon Museum, The Punk Rock Museum, and The Mob Museum all offer something totally different, from colorful vintage signs to punk rock history to moody old-school Vegas vibes.
And the best part? These spots aren’t just cool places to visit. You can actually get married, take wedding photos, or build part of your day around them.
Las Vegas Museums for Weddings & Wedding Photos
These Las Vegas museums are more than just cool places to wander around with a camera. Each one has its own way to work a wedding, ceremony, or photo session into the experience, which makes them super fun for couples who want their day to feel a little more personal and far from traditional.
Below, I’m breaking down The Neon Museum, The Punk Rock Museum, and The Mob Museum, plus what makes each one worth considering for your wedding day or photos.
The Neon Museum
Wedding pricing: Starting at $2,500
Private wedding/photo sessions: Starting at $400 for personal use.
Ceremony capacity: Up to 50 guests included, with options to add guests up to 90.
Best for: Colorful, nostalgic, vintage Vegas wedding photos.

The Neon Museum is one of my favorite spots for couples who want their wedding photos to scream Vegas without getting married inside a traditional chapel. The Neon Boneyard is filled with old casino and motel signs from Las Vegas history, giving you colorful, edgy backdrops that look different during the day, around sunset, and once the restored neon starts glowing at night.
You can also actually get married here. The museum currently offers private ceremonies in the North Gallery, with wedding packages starting at $2,500 for up to 50 guests, plus reception options for up to 90 guests. If you’re already getting married somewhere else and just want Neon Museum wedding or engagement photos, you have a few options. Along with private photo sessions, they offer shared Sunset Portrait Hours in the North Gallery and Late Night Photo Hours in the main Neon Boneyard, when the signs are fully illuminated.
One important thing to know is that you can’t just show up during regular museum admission with your wedding photographer and professional camera equipment. You’ll need to book one of the museum’s designated photo options instead.

The Punk Rock Museum
Wedding pricing: Starting at $500
Wedding capacity: Up to 6 guests with the elopement package or 25 guests with the private wedding package, with options to add up to 5 more.
Photography: Professional wedding photos are allowed in designated museum spaces with wedding packages.
Best for: Alternative couples, punk music lovers, moody wedding photos + a very nontraditional Vegas experience.

If getting married surrounded by punk rock history sounds more like your thing, The Punk Rock Museum might be one of the coolest and most unique Las Vegas wedding venues on this list. You’re surrounded by instruments, handwritten lyrics, old flyers, clothing, and memorabilia from bands that shaped punk history, but this place goes way beyond walking around and looking at exhibits.
Their Partners in Crime package starts at $500 for the couple and up to six guests, while Till Death Do Us Punk includes private access to the Chapel and Bar, plus a mini reception, for up to 25 guests. You can bring your own photographer, with wedding photos allowed in designated spaces including the Chapel, Bar, Jam Room, Living Room, and outside. And if you really want to lean into the experience, you can add a punk musician from their list to witness your wedding with advance notice. You can also grab a drink at the Three Star Punk Bar, add a padlock to their punk fence, play actual instruments in the Jam Room, or even head to their on-site tattoo shop after your ceremony. I also have to mention that I once got a tour here from one of my childhood punk band crushes, so this place has a little extra special place in my heart haha.
The Mob Museum

Wedding capacity: Options range from super intimate ceremonies to weddings with up to 120 guests.
Wedding spaces: Historic Courtroom, The Underground Speakeasy, Distillery + hidden VIP room.
Best for: Moody wedding photos, old-school Vegas, history lovers + Prohibition vibes.

The Mob Museum is such a cool option if colorful Vegas isn’t really your thing and you want something moodier and full of history instead. It’s located inside the city’s former federal courthouse and U.S. Post Office in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, just a few blocks from Fremont Street. And maybe it’s just me, but the whole place has ever-so-slightly haunted vibes in the best way.
There’s actually a ton of packages and ways to get married here. Smaller weddings start at $700 with a Speakeasy-inspired ceremony inside a hidden VIP room in The Underground, while other packages let you get married in the historic Courtroom, celebrate with cocktails in the Distillery, or have your reception inside the full Prohibition-style speakeasy. Their larger Courtroom wedding packages can accommodate up to 120 guests, so this one works for everything from a tiny Vegas elopement to a much bigger wedding.
The interiors are also SO good for moody wedding photos, especially if you love flash, darker spaces, vintage details, and something that feels totally different from the Strip. Several of The Mob Museum’s wedding packages include professional photography, so if bringing your own photographer is important to you, I’d recommend checking with their wedding team about the photography policy for the specific package you’re considering!

All three of these venues bring something totally different to a Vegas wedding day. If you’re looking for something colorful and nostalgic Vegas, The Neon Museum is probably your spot. If punk music, tattoos, and something completely nontraditional sounds more like you, go with The Punk Rock Museum. And if you want darker, moodier photos with old-school Vegas history and a speakeasy thrown into the mix, The Mob Museum is hard to beat!
